Hi,
I often have a problem when using the calculator that is related to how
computers represents numbers.
Computers often have a fixed bit size when doing different arithmetic's.
Their are either 8, 16, 323 or 64 bits wide.
Often I want the calculator to show 32-bit sign values and show what
happens when values is sifted or added etc. regarding signed values and
so on.
I am not sure if I make myself clear her, but if I enter a value like
0xFFFFFFFF on a 32 bit wide computer it will show as a -1 if the value
is signed and as 4294967295 if it is unsigned. Also if i enter -1 and
covert it to hex is should show 0xFFFFFFFF if the caluclator is in
signed 32-bits wide mode.
I do not know if this is possible today, but maybe it could be an idea
for a future enhancement?
Regards
Per A.
