Dear Gnome Calendar developers,
I have a feature request or change request for Gnome Calendar.
In my opinion the position of the date labels in the month view should
be above the event entries. When looking at a calendar entry I find that
I consistently first and mistakenly pick or see the previous day,
because it is the closest to the entry. Most calendar programs (e.g.
Lightning/Mozilla Thunderbird and California) choose a date label place
where the event entries are closest to the current date instead of the
previous day. I would like to see an option for choosing the label place
if possible. In my opinion the current date should be above and close to
the event entries for that day.
I do not know it is possible to code it in, but I would certainly
welcome a change, especially because Gnome's emphasis on good usability
and simplicity.
Kind regards,
Josquin Hoens
