If you took your tacit design and expressed it via code then "read the code" would be the correct answer I suppose. You are a bright individual no doubt, so I don't believe that I need to defend the value articulating a design via models (and the subsequent discovery of flaws and details). If no models exist I might be interested in creating and maintaining those. I believe a communication of the GTK and Bonobo designs, unencumbered by the ambiguities of the english (or C) language, could be a valuable resource for newcomers.
I would love to see those and I would be more than happy to help you in any possible way.
