You're perfectly correct, although I think the 'taliad' bit is
sometimes misleading.

If a friend won the lottery through a syndicate you would probably ask
'beth yw dy siâr?' rather than 'beth yw dy gyfrandaliad?

Colloquially, I think it's appropriate, but there may be a way we can
use 'Cyfran'. I suppose, in a way, that 'cyfraniad' does actually mean
'share' in the computer sense, because it describes what is being
offered from an individual person or server to a group of
people/client machines.
