Carlos, I am sorry about that. My problem sounded like a database (db)
problem, so I thought I would include this gnome-db-list.
Guys, I forgot to mention that I am using GNOME v1.4 if that information
is important.

The rebuilding of the RPM database had no effect on the situation. I am
still getting the same errors.

Ah thank you for this one. Nice parameter to learn which I didn't see in
man! :) I left libxml-1.8.14-ximian.1 intact because I believe I still
need this if I need to upgrade. I have a feeling that the duplicates came
from red-carpet that had those errors and crashed (segfault and
incomplete upgrade).
