Hi,
I'm new to gnome-db and the list. I've searched the archives to see if
any one else was having a problem with the 1.0.3 spec file. First some
background. I tried installing the rpms for 1.0.2 and I kept getting
errors:
# rpm -Uvh libgda-1.0.2-1.i386.rpm
Preparing... ########################################### [100%]
1:libgda ########################################### [100%]
Now the devel library:
[root laptop gnome-db]# rpm -Uvh libgda-devel-1.0.2-1.i386.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
libgda = 1.0.2 is needed by libgda-devel-1.0.2-1
Which is weird. So I decided to get the latest source. I noticed a rpm
spec file so I decided to try building a new set of rpms from the spec
file:
[root laptop libgda-1.0.3]# rpmbuild -ba --with sqlite --with ldap --with mysql --with postgres --without odbc libgda.spec
<lots of output deleted>
RPM build errors:
File not found: /var/tmp/libgda-1.0.3-root/usr/lib/libgda/providers/libgda-default.so
This is on a Fedora Core 1 system. Any ideas?
