Problem with Gnome on IRIX6.2

Hi,
I just compiled the latset version of gnome (.8)
on an SGI IRIX 6.2.
Many application are not working, and i alsways get the following
error message :
Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_widget_size_request() called on child widget with
widget equal
 to widget->requisition. gtk_widget_set_usize() may not work properly.

Do you know where it comes from ?
I'm wondering if this is why some application are core dumping.
