CVS question to Gnome 'Officials'

 Hi,
 
 This is somewhat a stupid question.
 
 How does putting your work under gnome cvs done?
 
 Do you choose what to put there? Do I ask you? Do I beg you?
 
 I have been thinking about it, just to facilitate work on it by different 
people.
 
 So if you have a policy or something, I would like to know it please!
