text colors in gtk_label

Hello,

I'm currently working on an ISDN tool for GNOME. There I want to be able
to show callers id (in a gtk_label) with a specified color. But how? I
have been reading the Gtk FAQ 6.10, but it was not enough. How do I
change a widget's color? Do the whole gtk_label need to be the same color?
I need some hints ...
