ANNOUNCE: GOB (GTK+ object builder) 1.0.3 released

What is GOB:

Very simple preprocessor for making GTK+ objects with inline C code so that
generated files are not edited. Syntax is inspired by Java and yacc or lex.
The implementation is intentionally kept simple, and no C code parsing is
done. Besides that, it's really cool and you should use it and stuff.

This release fixes some pretty serious bugs, so upgrading is recommended.
They are not lethal, but they result in memory leaks. Also there is some
support for GLib/GTK+ 1.3 (What will become GLib/GTK+ 2.0). This will only
make the objects compile and work on GTK+ 1.3 (hopefully), but it will not
use any 1.3 features. Also there may be still things that won't work, so
this support is basically experimental, but GTK+ 2.0 isn't out yet anyway :)

What's new in 1.0.3:

	* Add "const self", and a _CONST cast macro (Bas van der Linden)
	* Objects should compile with Glib/GTK+ 1.3 (to become 2.0)
	* Parent handler is properly called for destroy and finalize
	* Fixes in documentation and examples

Where to get it:

	* (tarballs)
	* (redhat packages)
	* (debian packages)
	  Debian packages will be available soon!

There is also discussion mailing for gob, to subscribe send mail to with the subject of "subscribe gob-list".
