GnomeMDI && gtk_tree

Hi,
I've got trouble in using GnomeMDI with gtk_tree.
I create a GnomeMDI program. For some look and feel reason I want to use
the NOTEBOOK style of GnomeMDI. In each MDI I create a vpaned, and in
the 
right side I put a gtk_tree. My gtk_tree work fine till in tears off my
MDI page. Soon I tears off a MDI page, the tree in it, become strange :
 - No mark to expand or collapse the tree and all tree item.
 - When I want to add an item, ....... Crash.
Is this an know bug or a special feature of my program ?
When I tear off a page have I to destroy the current MDI and recreate it 
in the new MDI ?
