destroying GladeXML

hi

i'd like to destroy a whole XML tree of widgets when i don't know the
names of the widgets. this requires two operations:
1. destroying the widgets.
2. freeing the XML tree (GladeXML).

how can i do this ?
if i can assume all the widgets belong to the same top level window, is
that makes things easier ?
