I've been having difficulty in getting oaf-0.6.7 to pass "make check" on Solaris2.6. Unfortunately, I don't know why it is failing, and was hoping to find some advice here.
I currently have oaf compiled and installed into /csc/tools/sw/common/gnu/solaris/stow/oaf-0.6.7, and have copied the broken.oafinfo file from the test directory into /csc/tools/sw/common/gnu/solaris/stow/oaf-0.6.7/oaf/broken.oafinfo, as seemed to be indicated as necessary by the message displayed at the end of running the self-test.
The output (and error messages) from a "make check" is as follows:
make[2]: Entering directory `/vobs/cm_tools/gnu/oaf-0.6.7/test'
OAF_INFO_PATH="../test:$OAF_INFO_PATH" PATH="../test:$PATH" ../test/oaf-test-client
** WARNING **: Activation by query failed!

Server with IID but no type or location failed (except) 1, passed 2

It looks like you havn't installed broken.oafinfo into ${prefix}/oaf,
this must be done by hand to avoid redundant warnings.
Another possibility is that you failed to kill oafd before running
make check; try running oaf-slay.

Any suggestions?
