building gnome 2.0: HELP!!!

Hi!
I get from CVS repository all gnome 2.0 but
I'm not able to build it...
I downloaded tha latest autoconf and automake release but I
get many errore when I try to do autoconf or automake or aclocal...
Could anyone help me to do that? help!!!!
