If your bug report gets closed as a duplicate, you can easily add yourself
to the CC list of the report your's was a duplicate of.  (you can add
yourself to the CC list of any bug you are interested in).

You get notification when your bug report is resolved as a duplicate, so
this shouldn't be difficult to do.
