Yes, well.. it depends on. If you have installed the (old) gtk 1.2
libraries then it will work. On RedHat 8.0 and RedHat 9 the (old) Gtk
1.2 applications will have a similar theme as the (new) Gtk 2.x
applications.

On RH8.0 and RH9 those (old) libraries are, afaik, installed by default.
