pkgconfig for Gnome 1.x libraries?

Do the libraries for gnome 1.x install .pc files for pkgconfig? So that I can use PKG_MODULE_CHECK for my gnome 1.x app (don't worry I'll update to Gnome2 soon, hopefully)
