gnome_dialog within a callback

Hello,

i`m still using libgnome 1.4.1.
When i use gnome_dialog_run_and_close within a callback, the application
never returns from that callback. After the dialog is closed it apears
again and again independently which widget i click at.

Does anybody know what`s going on here ?
