Ok do both kde and gnome hate system admin's or something. Kiosk Modes.

Sabayon  and Pessulus on gnome and kiosktool on kde.

Now if my users want to run both KDE and Gnome.  I have to configure 
both separately.

Can you please come to some kinda of agreement on this.

A single list of applications that the user is allowed to run/see in menus.
Shared settings.  Ie I lock kill process by force option in gnome for a 
user.  It is all ready locked in kde or the other way over.

Ok keep each of your own tools but make them share config files in 
places.  In one way kiosk mode settings really should become part of the 
freedesktop.org standard.  Just to make system admins life simple.
