Sorry for the redundance, that was an email I sent days ago, when I was not 
registered, but the admin didn't see it yet, and I decided to subscribe me to 
the mailing list.

However, I take advantage of this message to explain that I got glib from CVS, 
I compiled and installed it, and I remap LD_LIBRARY_PATH and PATH to point 
first to the new version. But the problem with Glimmer persists.
