gnome-debug compilation problem

Hi,

I'm trying to have a look at anjuta2 but I have trouble compiling
gnome-debug. The autogen.sh script needs automake 1.3 or newer. I have
version 1.6.3
gnome-build and gdl are building fine.

Can somebody give me a hint as how to solve this?
