Hi all,
I just committed some big changes to anjuta2, gdl and gnome-build. I
just want to notify everybody of what has changed:
- Multiple Windows: you can create more than 1 window now through the
Window->New Window menuitem, and close it via File->Close Window. This
functionality exposed LOTS of bugs all over anjuta2. If you find any
remaining bugs, please notify me.
- Window Layouts: you can change the window layout on-the-fly through
the Window->Layouts menu. This lists the available layouts which you
saved. This part isn't fully done yet, so please be patient :)
- New Preferences Dialog: i've implemented a completely new preferences
dialog based on the current gedit preferences dialog (tree on the left
with categories & items), headerless GtkNotebook on the right with the
preference pages. So far, i've got 3 pages: Plugins, Dock and Documents.
The last one is not functional yet (only a .glade file). The Dock
required some changes to gdl. I changed the AnjutaShell API to remove
some old parameters when adding a preference page.
Some other minor stuff:
- Made the .anjuta project loading more robust.
- Use plugin prefix when adding shell parameters
("DocumentManager::CurrentDocument")
My next focus area is glimmer. I've got lots of uncommitted changes
there and i want to finish it up and move all the stuff back to HEAD.
Regards,
Jeroen
