Re: (Proposed) GNOME documentation system explanation




Federico and others, I'm mostly convinced by your explanation of the
Gtk "mechanically assisted" documenation method.

I like it because I think it's good to not be constrained by doing it
inline.

I'm not impressed by the stylesheet customization used: the forced
white background is an abomination and the purple shade for verbatim
environments is a bit ugly.  But that's no big deal.

Two concerns:

1. I would like to review the intermediate DocBook (I'm downloading
   the set of tools from that page).

2. I'm concerned that the editing happens in the intermediate file,
   where all the power of emacs's PSGML mode isn't available, since
   it's not proper DocBook.
