Hi,
thanks for the offer to help! Here are some suggestions; maybe Dave or
other organizers will have more...
1. You could help improve existing docs - proofread, check for sync
with the software itself, etc.
2. Users guide is missing docs on some applets; here they are:
Diskusage applet
All amusement applets (fish, fifteen, game of life)
XMMS applet
Character Picker
Gkb (international keyboard)
If you could write a short description for one or several of them - in
the same style as it is for other applets in users guide - it'd great!
This shouldn't take long, and you do not need to know much about
DocBook either.
3. There are also some GNOME applications and utitlities missing
documentation; IMHO, the most urgent are common utilities such as font
and color selector, gtop, and PPP tool. If you want something more
challenging, try writing docs for one of them. Just announce it to
this list to avoid duplication of efforts, and get in touch with the
author of the software - maybe, he is doing it himself.
Disclaimer: the above are my suggestions, not approved or
authorised by anyone...
Best,
Sasha
