Just thought I'd talk a bit about screenshots in docs and ask for some
feedback. Typically - a tag in a screenshot would like this:
<graphic fileref="gdiskfree" format="PNG" srccredit="John Fleck"/>
This would look for 'gdiskfree.png' - Simple :)
but I just added support for JPEG/JPG (when rendering to HTML). The problem is
(as you may have noticed). Some people use '.jpg' file extension and others
use '.jpeg' - So if you use the former than set 'format="JPG"' and if you sue
the latter do 'format="JPEG"' - This is how it will be done. ANybody have any
objections to this? (well, this is really a non-issue since our 'default' is
PNG - but still I'd like feedback)
There is also another issue:
currently if you do not have the format thingy then it will default to look
for a .gif file. I will be changing this to PNG. Does anybody have any
objections to this? GDP uses PNG images for files so I guess this would be
good, and anyway, this is my small way of showing my preference to PNG over
GIF (i.e. Burn all GIFs)
