The thing that does the real work is called docbook-to-man, which has been
around for years. There should be a link on the DocBook site.

It seems to handle most of DocBook OK, though it may be out of date.
(The author sent me a slightly newer version a year or so ago. I don't know
if that was ever released.)

The gtk-doc support for it was never finished, partly because I think man
pages should be wiped out!
