Hi,
there is something mighty wrong with the tools or stylesheets used for
db2html conversion used for creating docs in 1.1.6 release. For
example, <menuchoice> tag gives something incredibly ugly. like
+ + + + +Applets+ +
+ + + + ->Amusements+ + + + + + ->gEyes+ + + + +
(from geyes applet)
Other problems:
- for some reason, <graphic> in some applets produced a
link to non-existent *.gif file instead of *.png (see gnotes and
many others). Sgml source is OK.
- — produced empty space (also gnotes)
- missing references to things like "adding and removing applets" etc
(I can figure out how it happened - this, of course, is not a
problem of the docbook tools but of organizing docs for all applets
in one document)
- in some cases, the link to copyright notice is broken (again gnotes
and many others)
In general: is it possible to use cygnus tools + GDP stylesheets to have
consistent style of all docs? After all. Dave put lot of effort in
creating these stylesheets...
