Great!

We don't have to wait for GNOME 1.4.1 to get our fixes out. If we make
substantial bug fixes or improvements to any modules we should probably
request that a new release be made of that module. In most cases, the
maintainer should not have any problem putting out a bug-fix release of
whatever modules we fix.

Does anybody else have problems with this Gnumeric file? I just checked
out the latest version and Gnumeric doesn't seem to open it on my system
:(

Just to summarize the system which Kevin set up but which many people on
this list may not be familiar with...

Anybody who wants to help do some documentation QA should:
1) check out gnome-docu
2) find a module which doesn't have anybody doing doc QA on it in the
qa-list.gnumeric spreadsheet
3) assign themself to do QA on the module by entering your name in the
cell in qa-list.gnumeric and checking it back into CVS or by asking Kevin
to sign you up
4) run the assertions listed in gnome-docu/gdp/qa/gnome-1.4/assertions.txt
and list any assertions which fail for each app in the module
5) report all failures to the "doc maintainer" listed in qa-list.gnumeric
and note them in qa-list.gnumeric (see assertions.txt for details)
6) after you and the doc maintainer have resolved and checked all failed
assertions, mark the module as passing all assertions in qa-list.gnumeric

[these instructions are taken from Kevin's assertions.txt file]

That sounds like a great goal to me. It would be very impressive if we
could find and squash all of these documentation bugs in this time frame
:)
