Thanks! It almost works the way I want, except that for the UTF8 (non-latin)
text I get the iso-8859-1 encoded HTML with all non-latin chars quoted
as &#xxxx;

As a result, such HTML takes about 3 times the space it would have
had it been UTF8 encoded.

Any hints on this issue?
