I've taken a look at this. Here are my comments:
6.5.4: " To Change the Icon for a File or Folder"
This text doesn't correspond to what I have on my
system:
"To restore an icon from a custom icon to the default
icon, Select the file or folder that you want to
change, choose File → Properties. click on the
Icon button, in the Select custom icon dialog click
Revert."
I suggest:
"To restore an icon from a custom icon to the default
icon, select the file or folder that you want to
change, choose File → Properties, then click on
the Remove Custom Icon button."
(note changes to capitalization too)
6.6.1: "To Add Actions"
If ther was no prior action associated with the type,
the newly added action is the default.
s/ther/there
I think once these two are fixed, the patch can be
committed.
So more complex issues which may require discussion
follow...
6.11: "Using Removable Media"
"The file manager supports all removable media that
have the following characteristics:"
I'm not sure this is true any more. Nautilus supports
CD-ROMs, flashdrives, iPods, and so on. These don't
have entries in /etc/fstab
Lastly, the image you've submitted for the link emblem
doesn't match what I have on my system. Emblems change
with system theme. Which are you using (and which icon
theme is GNOME default?). I'm using the icon theme
called 'GNOME', and it's a blue arrow in the same
style as the read-only and locked emblems.
I've spotted a few other problems, to do with
vocabulary and readability, but those were there
already. I can tackle them once this patch is in, or
pass on the list to you if you like.
Joachim
