Short documentation freeze for GNOME 2.26?

Hi doc writers,

for the last cycles, there have always been complaints by translators
that docs get changed in the very last days and hence destroy the work
of translators.
See again the current thread at
http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-i18n/2008-September/msg00311.html .
And there's been a response by Shaun to explain the doc writer's point
of view:
http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-i18n/2008-September/msg00336.html .

My question to the doc team is: How many doc changes have really
happened in these four last days of the 2.23.x cycle?
For 2.25.x, I consider having a doc freeze from Thursday 23:59 UTC until
the tarballs for 2.26.0 have been made. These are four days, mainly on
the weekend.

Interested in feedback,
andre
