That’s weird, Launchpad shows correct translation for 16.04:

But it’s not the first time Ubuntu/Launchpad added a bad translation on top of
GNOME. Nothing we can do about it upstream.

Anyway, thank you gorlok for reporting it, and don’t hesitate reporting again
if you find a bug in modern gedit/GNOME.
