I am trying gnome-calendar, it looks OK and it uses Evolution Data
Server so the events are even shown in the clock applet of gnome-panel.
However it looks like the clock applet do not issue notifications for
calendar events.
Open bug? Clock needs some work as it is slow at least for me. If/when I
will decide to work on clock applet I might look at this problem...
Thanks Alberts, I will open a bug request.
I just wanted to test the water first to see if I was missing anything,
I assumed more people read the mailing list compared to who gets
notified of new bugs in bugzilla.
Anyway - what is happening in GNOME Shell? Does it show something in panel
or shows notification banners?
I don't know what GNOME Shell does for calendar events, I will try to
test that too before writing the bug report.
Ciao ciao,
Antonio

Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
