Has someone ever contacted the crew of the gnome-icon-project to emphasize
the importance of their designs?They should know the design-rules (from eg.
the apple-book you mentioned) are extremely important for the gnome gui.
Their are some guidelines on their website
http://gnome-icons.sourceforge.net/ but those are rather poor. And  I can't
find 'good' icons on their website too. The icons are mostly little pieces
of art. That's really nice but not very usefull for a good gui.
