Me too.
Such a lite setup should cover gnome-core + control-center + the CD
player of the gnome-media package. Maybe, plus bug-buddy. Hardware:
200 MHz x86 compatible processor, 32 or 64 MB RAM, 800x600 (on account
of the notebooks).
If your software will run on such a system it will fly on more advanced
systems. Good for all of us.
That's just my personal opinion.
