The same logic applies. They hit "connect to the internet". If they don't
have ppp configured they get some configure screens with helpful tables
of ISP defaults, phrased in plain english and with most isps, plus some auto
signup options.
Maybe there should be an international standard xml format for describing
dialup user configuration 8)
