Hm, so does anyone have a suggestion for how we can avoid this happening
in future GNOME releases? (i.e. is patching GTK+ this way acceptable to
the GTK team, or is there another/better way to do it?). I'd really like
to get this killed, if not in GNOME1 at least in GNOME2.
