Hey Havoc,
Thanks for the reply. You're right about the modifications. They
belong in autoconf and libtool. The required patches should be in the
latest version of autoconf. I've just submitted the patches to the
libtool team.
I'm unsure about cat-id-tbl.c. What package own this?

These are all autogenerated files. If you had to modify them, it means
you need to submit patches to libtool, autoconf, and so on; they
cannot be modified in the gnome-games package.
