I think this would be a great idea for the GEPs. You might want to try
using the simplified DocBook DTD if you do not want to design a GEP
specific DTD.

I'd like to say jade is a plague which XML solves very nicely. The only
user tools you will need is Daniel's fine libxml2 and libxslt. Those
contain all the tools you will need to do the conversions Gergo is
talking about.
