Hi all,
Awesome gnome-core changelog from Mark; haven't seen 1.x -> 2.0 changelogs
for other packages. It would be awesome to send the final GNOME 2.0 Desktop
release out with a changelog for each component. Despite the port and ship
target for this release, there have been plenty of excellent changes, and we
ought to make them known (if only for the adoration, fangeeks and beer).
The following modules have not been uploaded for release with the Desktop
Alpha. Please email the release team and release as soon as possible, or
your packages will not be go out with the alpha!
eel
eog
gnome-audio
gnome-control-center
gnome-media
gnome-pim (very unlikely to be released at all)
gnome-user-docs (docs not due with alpha release)
nautilus
rep
rep-gtk
sawfish
The following relevant libraries have not been updated for the alpha release
(they may not need updating):
bonobo-activation
gnome-vfs
intltool
libghttp (everything ought to be migrated to gnome-vfs)
libglade
libgnomeui
If you do not have ftpadmin privileges, or access to widget to make your
release, please:
a) Email the release team with a link and md5sum of your tarball.
b) Email gnome-sysadmin gnome org requesting access. If you don't have an
account, you will need to supply your email address, full name, user
name, and a crypted password.
