Dudie, I'm still very interested in what features are planned for
gnome-vfs, and what ultimate goals we have in mind. I'm personally
particularly interested in the role of file dialogs in all of this, and
how gnome-vfs / nautilus / new gtk+ API will be used in that. Also the
sound of great chunks of nautilus code moving around is quite worrying
to me.
Can we have a full expose / white-paper / sketch / manic brain-dump or
whatever ? it'd be really good if we could all get on the same page -
there're loads of funky things that gnome-vfs can be doing, and I'm
excited about them. I'm also keen to do a brain dump of what I want to
do in Gnome 2.2, wrt. bonobo-activation, libbonoboui, and I had some
plans for gnome-vfs myself ;-)
Regards,
Michael.
