Hi Jacob:
Does this work touch xlock functionality at all,
and if so, do you have any plans for (even primitive)
accessibility support for xlock?
This is an application we have had some concerns about since
it does not use GTK+ (ordinarily) and we can't run GTK+ apps
as suid (which we probably wouldn't want to do anyway).
It would be good however if, for instance, blind or mobility-impaired
users could log back into their system.
The need for the front end to grab the server may make this nontrivial;
we don't want the accessibility stuff to present a security hole so
we'd want to restrict access to the xlock frontend itself.
Possibly doing two things would suffice:
(a) allowing xlock to talk to a speech server (via gnome-speech);
(b) allowing an onscreen keyboard (gok) to pop-to-front when
activated via switch devices.
