Hi All,
I asked about this on the gnome-i18n alias a while back and it was suggested I
ought to also get the ok on gnome-hackers.
We have a large amount of translations from the Sun release of Gnome that we
want to commit to community CVS. Previously we have been committing these po
files back to gnome-i18n with the translation teams then merging the stuff back
to their working branches as they see fit. Now however, gnome-i18n module is
getting a bit bulky and it seems like a good idea to set up a separate new
module only for our po content so that people downloading gnome-i18n don't
always get po content which they have already dealt with. Also, having the
separate module would help us in making commits of our files on an ongoing
basis.
Is it ok to set up the new module? If it is ok - are there restrictions on CVS
account holders setting up new modules themselves i.e can I just do a cvs import
or does it have to be set up by the cvs folks? We'd call the module sun-l10n.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Damien
