Not a problem; you just do another checkout from the new address. You
*did* commit your last changes before the scheduled switch date, didn't
you? :)

Maybe the sysadmins will have a different opinion, but a little periodic
cleanup doesn't sound like a high price to pay in exchange for the
freedom to experiment.

labs.g.o would be great for SoC and experimentation, indeed (I'm still
waiting for my student to get his SVN account validated!).
The main repositories are already restricted; there's no need for extra
roadblocks.
