Hm, well, gtranslator's docbook backend is currently not working and is
even not written yet .-)
It is/was meant to get some translatable contents (<para> etc. tags'
contents should be normally translatable), convert it _internally_ into
a po file, use gtranslator's core po functions to handle it like a
totally normal po file. On save time it should/could be tranformed back
into a docbook file.
Especially if you do think of a already built-in docbook parser in
libxml2 then you can also see, that this would be easy to do.
But that's for future, when gtranslator gets ported to GNOME
2.0/libxml2...
