I think this is an excellent idea, but I don't know much about the WML
stuff either.
You should probably bring it up with webmaster@gnome.org or
gnome-web-list@gnome.org. Or perhaps (maybe the best option) put it in
bugzilla against the "website" component, and perhaps someone
knowledgeable about this will have a look at it.
