According to what I know, the gnome 2.0 string freeze is still in
effect.
It seems this change in gtk+-2-0 broke it by adding a new message (or at
least translators were not informed about this). I realize that gtk+
developers might (for good reasons) not feel affected by the gnome
string freeze itself, but I don't feel that's a good reason for not
announcing this type of changes to translators at gnome-i18n@gnome.org.
Please do that in the future. Thanks.
