this was addressed to gnome-i18n. Christian Rose wrote back and said, write to
gtk-i18n instead, so that's what i'm doing.
NOTE: my mail provider chose in its inscrutable wisdom to eat or bounce all
messages between just after Christian sent the message (Monday, 4:44pm Mountain
time == 11:44pm GMT), and right now, Thursday 12:30am == 7:30am GMT. So if you
sent anything in that interval, please resend.
