There has been an unannounced string freeze breakage in the string
frozen libbonobo HEAD branch.
This seems to be the commit in bonobo/bonobo-application.c that caused
the two unannounced string additions:
----------------------------
1.1 <gcarneiro> 2003-11-17 17:10
Bonobo Unique Application -- GEP 12
----------------------------
This is the change:
http://cvs.gnome.org/bonsai/cvsblame.cgi?file=libbonobo/bonobo/bonobo-application.c&rev=1.1&root=/cvs/gnome
Communication with translators regarding string changes at supposedly
frozen times is very important. If you feel the need to break a freeze,
follow the procedure outlined on
http://developer.gnome.org/dotplan/tasks.html#ApprovingFreezeBreaks to
get approval first, and please respect the freezes otherwise.
This whole file seems to be totally new stuff, and should probably not
be done on the frozen HEAD branch of libbonobo. If you need to add new
features, branch for gnome-2-4 first, before you do anything on HEAD.
IMHO this string change should be reverted, and a stable and frozen
gnome-2-4 branch be created.
Christian
