Use of ngettext

Just to let you know,

GTK+ has de facto required ngettext since December last year
(due to our failure to recognize that a patch introducing ngettext
calls hadn't been completely reverted). We haven't heard of any
problems due to this, therefore the GLib will require ngettext starting
with version 2.6.
